Tiziana Terenzi takes a rather poetic inspiration for the Il Piacere extrait de parfum, citing the novel of the same name by Gabriele D'Annunzio. Written in 1889, it tells the story of a devoted aristocrat – Andrea Sperelli – who celebrates art in all its forms and relinquishes her life to this pursuit in a tale of decadence; this sweet scent brings notes of bergamot rose, saffron, jasmine, peony, amber and vanilla to name a few, conjuring the same aura of indulgent poetry as its literary inspiration.
